Local traditional singer, Martyn Wyndham-Read donated a substantial part of the fee he received from a local performance to Sussex Traditions after hearing of its inception. Martyn spreads the gospel of Sussex and its traditions wherever he goes and is responsible with others for producing a Christmas show called ‘Maypoles to Mistletoe’ which draws its inspiration from Sussex songs, literature and customs.
